FOWL Luncheon Will Be Held Tomorrow
The Friends of the Waccamaw Library have decided to go ahead with our 28th Annual Luncheon at Pawleys Plantation, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m, on Tuesday, Sept. 25. With so many people in our community being deeply impacted by Hurricane Florence and the resulting flooding, we feel that carrying on with our long tradition of service to the library will provide a much-needed respite from the stressful situation the Waccamaw Neck is facing. A portion of the luncheon proceeds will be donated to local flood-relief efforts. If you are holding tickets, we hope you will be able to join us as we come together to support one of the pillars of our community. If you are not able to attend, we thank you very much for your contribution.
