Tim Conroy Rescheduled for Oct. 17

Tim Conroy Rescheduled for October 17    The Waccamaw Library has postponed Tim Conroy's "Pat Conroy's Great Love of Poetry" event originally set for September 27.  It has now been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the DeBordieu Auditorium at the Waccamaw Library.  Your free advance tickets will still be valid for this event.    Thank you for supporting FOWL.  The Waccamaw Library is so much better because you care! FOWL Luncheon Will Proceed Tomorrow

FOWL Luncheon Will   Be Held Tomorrow The Friends of the Waccamaw Library have decided to go ahead with our 28th Annual Luncheon at Pawleys Plantation, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m, on Tuesday, Sept. 25.  With so many people in our community being deeply impacted by Hurricane Florence and the resulting flooding, we feel that carrying on with our long tradition of service to the library will provide a much-needed respite from the stressful situation the Waccamaw Neck is facing. A portion of the luncheon proceeds will be donated to local flood-relief efforts.  If you are holding tickets, we hope you will be able to join us as we come together to support one of the pillars of our community.
