 Annual Book Sale Coming Up July 6 - 8
FOWL's 27th Annual Book Sale will be held in less than a month! This perenially-popular event draws book lovers from near and far!
Thursday, July 6, 2017, is Friends Night from 6 - 8 pm. We'll be offering special pricing for members only. Postcards will be mailed out the week of June 12. Please remember to bring your postcards the night of the sale to help speed up admittance. Also, please bring your own book bags.
The sale will be open to the public on Friday, July 7, from 9 am - 5 pm and on Saturday, July 8, from 9 am - 12 pm. This huge summer sale will be held in the Debordieu Colony Auditorium at the Waccamaw Branch Library. If you are a FOWL member and need to renew your membership, the volunteers at the Friends Center can help. Or, come to the FOWL membership table on Friends' Night and fill out a renewal form. Individual memberships are $15 and Family memberships are $25. As always, there are also higher-level memberships available. All proceeds go to purchase books and computers for the library, and also to provide adult and children's programs.
