View this email in your browser National Friends Week Oct. 21-27 The week of October 21-27, 2018 is celebrated as the 13th annual National Friends of Libraries Week.  Membership in the Friends of the Waccamaw Library is open to everyone. Your membership demonstrates to the community that you feel that the Waccamaw Neck Branch Library is an important institution in our community. Your dues help to fund adult and children's programs that might not otherwise be funded, along with purchasing books, DVDs, and computers.  Membership levels include:    Individual/Family - $20.00 Supporter - $50.00, $5 OFF at Friends Center for Books and DVDs only. Patron - $100.00, $10 Off at Friends Center for Books and DVDs only.   Contributor - $250.00, $15 OFF at Friends Center for Books and DVDs only. One ticket to the Annual September Luncheon. Sponsor - $500.00  $15 OFF books and DVDs in the Friends Center. Two tickets to the Annual September Luncheon. Benefactor - $1,000.00  - $15 OFF books and DVDs in the Friends Center.  Two tickets to the Annual September Luncheon. Membership benefits include:   - Invitations to our "Members-Only" events - Admission to Friends' night at the July book sale - Informational emails announcing upcoming events or news - Invitation to annual meeting buffet - Volunteer opportunities - Camaraderie, companionship and conversations.
