2018 FOWL Luncheon Tickets Available at Friends Center

FOWL Luncheon Tickets Are Still Available    The 28th Annual FOWL Luncheon is fast approaching!  Our highly-anticipated luncheon will be held on Tuesday, September 25, from 11:30-2:00 at Pawleys Plantation.  This year marks the 30th anniversary of Friends of the Waccamaw Library, so the theme is "Pearls for Southern Girls".  Come solo or put a group of friends together - tables seat 10.  Individual tickets are $35 ($20 is tax-deductible) and are available at the Friends Center in the Library.  If you want to purchase group tickets, contact Phylis Cecola at pcecola.pc@gmail.com.   Thank you for supporting FOWL.  The Waccamaw Library is so much better because you care!  Know someone else that would be interested in our organization? Sturdy Boxes No Longer Available at Library

Wow!  Who knew there would be such a demand for sturdy boxes?  Due to an overwhelming response, all of the boxes at the Library have been spoken for.  Thanks for helping us clear out our storage areas! Sturdy Boxes Available at Library

If anyone is in need of sturdy Home Depot boxes, FOWL has an abundance of them available for the taking!  We recently received a donation of 114 boxes of books - from one personal library! - and don't have room to store all of these boxes.  They are "too good" to just be recycled, so please come get them if you need them!  Remember - reuse, reduce, recycle!
